The **Quality & Compliance Coordinator **will ensure measures are in place to meet the key indicators as per the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission) and continuous improvement is embedded in our daily practices.

**About the Position**:
As a support to our Quality System, the Quality & Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for reviewing and revising policies and procedures, assisting with quality audits, complaints and incident reporting, and administrative support.

The role will also be responsible in identifying changes in the NDIS and other relevant national legislative directives and adjust company processes accordingly. Where impacts are expected, the Quality & Compliance Coordinator, in conjunction with the Manager, Quality & Compliance, will develop and implement new processes to benefit employees, customers and service providers.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Assist the Manager, Quality and Compliance with the day-to-day running of the compliance function.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures in line with the NDIS Commission requirements.
- Contribute to internal quality assurance audits and provide detailed findings to the relevant business owner.
- Assist in the process of external audits including preparation of information for the audit and liaising with external auditors.
- Investigate and report privacy and data breaches, suspected fraud and other compliance risk measures.
- Management of incident and complaints reporting as per NDIS Commission and company directives.
- Work alongside the Manager, Quality & Compliance to develop training documents and materials to ensure employees are across the NDIS Commission requirements and standards.
- Champion continuous improvement of customer service delivery within the department.

**To be successful in this role, you will possess**:

- Broad knowledge of work processes and quality system requirements.
- Ability to think laterally with good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and amongst conflicting priorities.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret relevant regulatory legislation.

- Knowledge of the issues facing people with disability in the context of their rights, health, safety and wellbeing.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and an understanding of the role of the NDIS Commission.
