Australia United Service Club Full time

The United Service Club in Spring Hill are searching for an experienced Waiter to join our team and be part of a passionate club community.

The United Service, founded in 1892, is located in the heart of SpringHill in one of Brisbane's most characteristic buildings. Our Members' Bar and adjoining Military Bar provide a warm and inviting atmosphere while as well as dining options such as a casual lunch on our front veranda to formal à la carte dining in one of our elegant function rooms.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the wait staff are responsible for:

- Greeting members and showing them to the appropriate dining areas
- Arranging table settings and furniture in our function rooms and dining areas
- Providing members with information about our menu and making recommendations
- Operating our POS system to deliver food orders and take member payment

In addition, barista experience will be highly regarded though not necessary for the role.

The successful applicant will have at least 1 year experience within a similar role and environment and have the following attributes:

- Excellent presentation and grooming
- A customer service focus
- A willingness to be part of the club "community"
- Ability to work well in a team

We are offering 20+ hours a week on a flexible roster however you. Must be available to work on Friday/Saturday nights.

**Salary**: $27.00 - $38.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
- Waitering: 1 year (preferred)
