Overview
LiveBig is seeking an experienced Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to support our team in Sydney in a Full time, Part time or Contracting capacity.
This role focuses on purpose-driven, person-centred care for people with disabilities, delivered in a supportive team environment.
What You'll Do
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive team environment, blending evidence-based practice with cultural responsiveness and real-world impact.
Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, therapy planning, evidence-based interventions, and detailed clinical reporting tailored to individual client needs in the community.
Design behaviour support plans grounded in functional assessments and conduct risk assessments or implement safety plans where appropriate.
Engage with clients, families, and stakeholders to ensure smooth, coordinated support across your caseload.
Maintain thorough, up-to-date client records to support continuity of care and informed decision-making.
Deliver therapy with sensitivity to each client's cultural, linguistic, and personal context—adapting approaches to meet diverse needs.
Collaborate with allied health colleagues, support coordinators, external services, and fellow psychologists through group supervision and dedicated support from the Psychology Team Leader to ensure cohesive, best-practice outcomes.
Provide services via home visits, community outreach, and Telehealth—balancing client needs with flexible work arrangements.
Deliver services in line with AHPRA registration standards, the APS Code of Ethics, NDIS Practice Standards, and all relevant legislation.
