?About Goodstart Semaphore Park

Goodstart Semaphore Park is a small three room, 70 place centre. We are tucked into a lovely little part of our community, close to local schools, shops and residential areas, as well as main roads and transport routes. Outside, our playground areas are a balance of natural and manmade elements and play surfaces. We have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability - while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam. Our large trees offer plenty of natural shade all year round.

?A bit about the role

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you will be a team player who is flexible and willing to support our centres and children when and where required. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

?We would love you to have.

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA recognised qualification.
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
A Valid Working with Children Check

?You'll help achieve this by

Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
Engaging and supervising the children at all times
Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
