Senior Architect - Power Apps Expert
Cognizant is seeking an experienced
Senior Architect
to spearhead the development of innovative solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform, particularly PowerApps. This role involves collaborating with clients to enable them to support various projects and solutions.
This includes developing model-driven and canvas apps, implementing solutions using multiple data sources and databases (including Dataverse), and designing end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
The successful candidate will be adept at leveraging innovative approaches to solution design and functionality, proficient in Agile project methodologies, and able to estimate work effort and extrapolate into project plans.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing PowerApps model/canvas apps, including data connectors, and configuring data gateways
Implementing solutions leveraging multiple data sources and databases, including Dataverse
Designing end-to-end solutions to improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing
Estimating work effort and extrapolating into project plans
Providing architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support for Microsoft 365
The ideal candidate will have strong .Net development experience with familiarity with C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Strong foundational knowledge of Office 365 platform, including Exchange, Intune, Azure AD, and Azure ecosystem is also essential.
Prior experience with SOA/web services design and programming, SharePoint 2016, ASP.NET MVC, and JavaScript is a plus. Strong business-to-technology translation skills are required to identify ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.

Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow
A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods
Knowledge of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and features included in different plans
Experience on SP Online – SPFx, SP add-in, Web Jobs, MS Teams, PowerShell, Azure AD
Expertise in PowerShell scripting
