**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- Hi, we are a family of 4. We have 2 energetic boys aged 4 and 6 (almost 7). I am a Registered Nurse. I unfortunately have to go and have spinal surgery in less than 2 week's time. I am trying to find a Nanny who would be able to help our boys and my husband while I am in hospital and recovering. My husband works long hours. Our boys are very different and have their own beautiful, unique qualities and strengths. Our eldest is neurodiverse and requires a lot of calm and patience to be able to help him during times where he is overstimulated and becomes overwhelmed. He enjoys playing soccer and playing with slime/kinetic sand really calms him (but it has to be his idea). Our youngest just loves most things but really enjoys anything to do with cars, numbers, lego and Kicking/throwing balls.

**Your Duties**:

- The role would be mainly for the next 6/7 weeks while I'm having the operation and recovering but if you were looking for more ongoing work we are open to offering this but it would be less hours after I have recovered and am more able to help with the boys. However it is not a requirement for you to be able to work past the 6/7 week mark. The days needed for the 6/7week period are Monday afternoons and Wednesday to Friday mornings, afternoons and evenings. I'm open to working around whatever availabilities you have. We would need you to have your own car to do some drop offs and pick ups to/from school and kindy. We have 2 booster seats that are light and don't require installation. They just sit on top of the seat and the boys buckle themselves in pretty easily. We would need you to help in the afternoon and evenings with the boys to prepare their dinner, assist with bath/shower and get them ready for bed. Any additional help would be to do some tidying up/washing up/preparing lunches/folding clothes and putting them away. Let me know if you are interested. I'd really appreciate any support we can get at an emotional time for our family.

**Our Perfect Caregiver**:

- The person who could help out the boys would ideally be very kind, patient, empathetic and able to be calm when there may be a lot of chaos. Experience with Neurodiverse children would be a bonus but isn't a requirement as I can explain his needs and what you can do to help him. We would need someone who is openminded in their approach to situations and is ok with learning the tools and strategies we use to try to help and support our boys individually.
