**Overview of role**:
We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and bubbly people to join our team and run amazing after-school science programs for kids at primary schools around Melbourne.

This means you are in charge of the whole show, from signing kids in, running games, making science experiments and clean up.

If you're studying to be a educator, this is fantastic experience and gateway into local primary schools.

**Required Skills**:

- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with parents
- Demonstrate high levels of energy and enthusiasm working with children
- **Confidence **managing a group children
- Ability to interact with children and adjust the interaction depending on child's age (such as making up games on the spot)
- Connect with children in a friendly and child-like manner

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Entertaining children at all times; constantly talking and engaging with children
- Keeping track of time and adapting as required
- Work efficiently and quickly
- Implementing and overseeing safety precautions

Is it essential that you enjoy working with children. Experience/interest in drama, entertainment or primary school education is very favourable. **Primary school science knowledge is favourable but NOT imperative - we can teach you everything you need to know**

**Must have drivers license.**

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 6-10 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Shift work

COVID-19 considerations:
All workers are required to be fully vaccinated to work at Fizz Kidz.
