Highly Skilled Software Reliability Specialist

Job Role:
We're seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to contribute to the delivery of a reliable banking solution.
As part of our global financial services group, you'll be working in 31 markets with 56 years of unbroken profitability. Our friendly and supportive team environment encourages collaboration and idea sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with engineering teams to develop and drive SRE best practices and tooling across the organisation
Close engagement and collaboration with all the engineering community in an embedded SRE team to solve major challenges
Be involved in projects such as measuring, testing and improving resilience, capacity to deal with increasing load, ability to make changes safely and Observability
Required Skills:
Strong experience in software engineering and system design using Java, Golang or similar language
Understanding of benefits and correct use of SLOs, metrics, logs and traces
Ability to utilise AI to improve productivity and product outcomes
Excellent understanding of modern software development practices, tools and technologies
Strong DevOps fundamentals with preference for Java, Golang, Microservices and other cloud technologies
Experience in APM and Observability tools
