The Volunteer Support Officer is responsible for supporting the membership of Scouts SA through proactive engagement with Scout Groups across the State. Working closely with senior volunteers, they will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders using extensive communication skills and problem solve matters impacting on the quality and quantity of adult volunteers within the organisation.

This position would suit you if you have experience in working with volunteers, you're positive and highly professional, and want to make a difference.

In general, you'll be:

- supporting the development of volunteer HR processes,
- creating and promoting annual quality assurance standards,
- analysing membership data and distributing reports,
- assisting with the planning of annual events, and
- coordinating and supporting the facilitation of workshops

You'll bring:

- excellent interpersonal, communication and computer literacy skills,
- excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail,
- and experience in customer service, recruitment and record-keeping roles
