**The Opportunity**

KBR is seeking an experienced Vehicle Mechanic within the Land Domain's Protected Mobility Systems Program Office (PMSPO). PMSPO is the acquisition and sustainment of various Vehicle Fleets within Land Vehicle Systems Branch (LVSB).

This role will work within the PMSPO acquisition team in Brisbane. The successful applicant will be required to support contract management activities in line with Commonwealth and Defence policies and processes, as per the task scope.

This position is a Full-Time Opportunity based in Brisbane.

**The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to**:

- Conduct post transit QA checks of PMV-L Mission Systems.
- Assist CES and equipment checks, for the Mission System and GFE.
- Support configuration of Mission Systems including removal/fitment of minor sub-Systems and/or auxiliary equipment as required.
- Provide Support to defect identification and resolution, including Support to RODUM investigations and tracking of OEM warranty activities
- Provide input into and/or review mechanical Technical data in the form of drawings, illustrations, specifications, handbooks (UHB, EMEI's), manuals and instructions.
- Provide Technical advice/quality assurance to Engineering Change Proposals in accordance with the Technical Regulatory Framework.
- Provide Technical advice on design, Project, planning or development activities
- Provide Technical advice to Support tests, measurements, investigations or trials on equipment.
- At times provide assist with conduct Test Drives of Heavy Vehicles in accordance with Civilian Licenses and Defence qualifications

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**

**Essential**:

- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (preferably Heavy Road Transport) with minimum of 4 years' experience (mandatory)
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry related to maintenance activities (Highly Desirable)
- Demonstrated understanding of Defence Technical Regulatory Framework requirements (Desirable)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (mandatory)
- Medium Rigid drivers licence (Highly Desirable)
- Demonstrated Experience with Defence Inventory Management Systems - MILIS (Desirable)
