Your New Role and Responsibilities We support the Australian Government's classified programs with modern IT systems, including mission critical classified systems that cover a wide breadth of software engineering disciplines. Including enterprise systems, web applications, cyber security and geospatial systems. Our team develops these using the latest agile processes and industry best practices, leveraging leading commercial and open-source frameworks and tools. Design innovative software solutions to complex problemsIntegrate and deploy complex systems using Sec Dev Ops practicesUndertake web focused User Interface development and User Experience evolutionResearch, prototype, investigate and develop technologies and systemsHave the opportunity to lead or contribute to customer demonstrations, engagement and innovation activities and initiatives and business development responsesWhat You'll Bring to Make An Impact A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (with software engineering experience)Integration with external systems/applications (REST API, integration protocols, JSON/XML)Integration and customization of open source technologies (Ni Fi, Kafka, Elastic (ELK) Stack, Solr)CI/CD tools and technologies and infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, git)Java and related open-source frameworksContainerization using Docker, KubernetesJIRA and Confluence Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes – if you meet most of them, we encourage you to submit your application.
