**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity for an **Electronics Maintenance Technician** to join our Air Traffic Control (ATC) Operation Maintenance (OM) team based at HMAS Albatross ATC Nowra, NSW.

You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing ATC systems, including Radios, RADAR, Navigation Aids, and related equipment, with a focus on preventative and corrective maintenance as part of the Operational Maintenance team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of ATC systems, including Radios, RADAR, and Navigation Aids at HMAS Albatross.
- Diagnose and resolve faults using advanced test equipment and technical troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with Defence reporting requirements.
- Support technical logistics, including stock management, material acquisition, and component selection.
- Assist with system commissioning, including assembly of cable forms and commissioning aids, and participate in acceptance testing.
- Provide supervision and mentoring to junior technical staff and certify maintenance activities as required.

**About YOU**
- Certificate III in Electronics or Communications (Certificate IV highly regarded).
- Strong technical background in electronics, with experience in fault finding, diagnostics, and maintenance of complex electronic or electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience with radar frequency and RF communication systems.
- Effective communicator with the ability to contribute technical input and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong understanding of and ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- NV1 Security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
- Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.
