**About the role**:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist our Cleaning Manager with the supervision, training and compliance of the cleaning department while monitoring the cleanliness and presentation of the venue.

Duties could include:

- Ensure the daily cleaning requirements are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently
- Organise and supervise the cleaning staff on various shifts
- Taking sick calls and arranging for shift covers
- Supervising and training staff all requirements of the their roles, safe equipment and chemical usage
- Managing instances of underperformance and holding coaching conversations to ensure expectations and standards are met.

**Our Perfect Fit**:
Will have experience in supervising and leading people. The ability to delegate tasks, problem solve and keep the team motivated is essential. This role is required to be hands on and will require (at times) you to lift, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

**What do you need to be considered?**
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position
- Highly organised and resourceful
- Have a good eye for detail
- Cleaning experience is preferred (not essential)
- Strong communication skills verbal and written
- Must have current RSA Competency Card (or be willing to obtain one)
- An understanding of roster processes
- Demonstrated conflict resolution experience
- Sound computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet)
- Ability to work a 24/7 roster with a variety of shifts including; mornings, afternoons, nights, over nights, weekends and public holidays
