About the RoleAcknowledge Education is seeking passionate Online Facilitators to join our Early Childhood Education faculty.
Working remotely, you will engage preservice teachers through pre-prepared provocations in weekly forums, bringing theory to life with your practical experience.
Your role will help ensure online students are as prepared, reflective, and resourceful as their on-campus peers.This independent contractor position offers flexibility around your schedule and suits organised, creative educators who champion children's rights and learning through play.Key ResponsibilitiesStimulate student participation in unit forums through reflective questions, comments, and provocationsRespond to and redirect student queriesFacilitate online workshops for preservice teachersMark assessments with constructive, student-centred feedback within set deadlinesAttend unit inductions to align with faculty standardsPrepare for online workshops by reviewing content and developing supplementary resources as neededAbout YouHold a post graduate qualification (ideally is enrolled in or has completed a master's or PhD)Minimum 3 years' experience as an ECTGenuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs)Strong team spirit, with an optimistic approach to supporting students and colleaguesQualified as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)Strong knowledge of theory, best practices, policy, and regulatory frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCurrent and active ABN (or willingness to obtain one)Committed to building up preservice teachers with fresh, intriguing ideas that spark reflection and creativityWhy work with usOpportunities to grow within the organisationIncredibly committed and supportive team of student-centric professionalsFlexibility to work from anywhere in Australia (For Academic staff)Be part of a fast-growing organisation working in an agile environmentAcknowledge education is part of UP Education group - Be part of a leading education provider: Join the Acknowledge Education Team: Igniting Potential, Fostering Growth
