**About the role**

We are currently looking for a team of Disability Support Workers to support a middle-aged gentleman we have in care, located in Fitzgibbon. He works, enjoys accessing the community and spending time with his family. He also likes being outdoors (bike riding, camping, fishing, going for a walk), watching football games, and playing cards.

We understand that the role can be quite varied depending on the individual you support however, your day-to-day may involve you prompting/assisting with personal care, transportation, community access, feeding, mobility, and domestic duties. This role is perfect for you if you are someone who loves to help others maintain their quality of life in a supported independent living environment.

Please note that his client is located in Fitzgibbon. You may be rostered with other clients in Fitzgibbon and surrounding suburbs in North Brisbane (Morayfield, Strathpine).

**About You**
- You have completed a Certificate 3 or higher in Disability, Aged Care, or other relevant courses
- You have previous experience working with people with disabilities, preferably within an accommodation setting
- You are committed to providing client focused services with positive outcomes
- A current Working with Children Check
- An NDIS Worker Screening Certificate
- A blue card
- A current police check conducted within 6 months
- A valid Australian drivers licence with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
- A current first aid certificate
