Feros Care Residential Village in **Bangalow** are excited to be hiring for a **Residential Care Worker - Activities Officer** to support their team.

**About the Role**:
As a member of the Residential Aged Care Facility care team the Activities Officer position provides direct assistance to ensure the delivery of positive living and lifestyle programs. The programs are designed to celebrate the diversity and individuality of our residents, and to empower and enhance residents emotional, social and psychological well-being.

**As the Activities Officer you will**:

- Assist to deliver individual and group programs for residents based on their diverse needs and interests
- Maintain a safe, comfortable and fulfilling living environment for residents through appropriate preparation, planning and management of activities.
- Ensure all information is appropriately documented in the Resident Clinical Management Systems.
- Provide personal care assistance to residents when required or under instruction from the Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse

**About You**:

- Vaccine certification in accordance with legislative requirements
- Certificate III in Leisure and Health or equivalent Certificate III qualifications, or currently undertaking study towards these qualifications
- Competent use of digital technology in a range of areas and willingness to use technology in activity programs
- Previous experience in a Lifestyle Program in Aged or Community Care is preferred.
- Foster a safe home-like environment and assist in maintaining the standard of the residential living environment, in partnership with residents and the team.
