Job Description
As an Advanced Analytics Support Engineer (Process Controls Engineer), you will work with our Support Application Engineers to support our customers' software and applications across a wide spectrum of Advanced Analytics, including diagnostic, predictive, and closed-loop control applications.
The work is demanding and offers unique opportunities for growth.

You will report to our Advanced Analytics Senior Support Manager and be based in Austin, TX.
Your Responsibilities :
Provide product, engineering, and application support to existing clients, including system and application health checks, performance analyses, and developing reports to document findings, followed by recommendations to maximize application value.
Support market development activities and participate in sales closure efforts as requested.
Assist in project staffing to optimize support department margins.
Understand and respond to customer needs with a customer-focused approach.
Collaborate with clients, peers, and management to develop solutions and ensure partner agreement.
Work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a strong commitment to client service.
Deliver our environmental Predictive Emission Monitoring system.
Perform technical project activities such as design, system integration, installation, data analysis, modeling, application development, and site commissioning.
Identify technical issues affecting project performance, including scope creep, delays, or requested change orders.
Document best practices for application development.
The Essentials - You Will Have :
Bachelor's or equivalent degree in chemical engineering or related engineering field with a focus on modeling, statistics, or process control.
Based in Sydney, Australia.
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have :
5+ years of experience as a process or control engineer in manufacturing.
Interest in automation, process control, and advanced model-predictive applications.
Experience in the process industries (Chemical, Refining).
Knowledge of instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications.
Experience with advanced process control implementation or business case development.
Familiarity with DCS (SCADA, HMI) or PLC configuration.
Experience with model predictive control products and emissions monitoring systems.
Knowledge of Environmental Monitoring Regulations (PS-16, Part75).
