Our client supplies revolutionary design and manufacturing processes for advanced UAV systems and is looking to expand its engineering and production team seeking an experienced **Production Manager **to lead and manage production processes and implement standards for manufacturing requirements.

**Role**:

- Leading the assigned production and production engineering teams, driving a continuous improvement culture in order to attain / maintain aerospace standards;
- Planning and managing day to day production activities for new production as well as service and maintenance activities;
- Supporting the transition of new products into the production phase in alignment with project targets and NPI processes;
- Ensuring, in collaboration with your team and other functions that the applicable operational strategies and targets are achieved.

**Experience required**:

- Experience in manufacturing / production / defence or similar engineering focused environments
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation;
- Detailed knowledge of precision manufacturing systems and processes;
- Knowledge of engine systems, including electrical and electronic systems;
- Good knowledge of engine and engine component manufacturing techniques;
- Sound knowledge of configuration management, BOM and drawing control;
- Effective Priority / Project Management skills;
- Awareness of Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and associated control plans.
- Strong analytical skills, with capability to design and execute performance testing;
