This is a unique **non-clinical leadership opportunity** with a strong focus on people, daily operations, and quality of life. You'll be the visible, accessible leader of a dedicated House, assuming responsibility for up to 40 residents and leading a team who support them each day.

**About the Role**
We're seeking a capable and compassionate leader to manage one of our Houses at our Aegean Village (Christie Downs) site. This is a key non-clinical leadership position focused on building community, supporting staff, and ensuring residents live well, their way.
This role operates within a **dyad leadership model**, working in close partnership with a dedicated Clinical Leader. While you focus on people, environment, and the everyday experience of residents and staff, your clinical counterpart ensures the highest standards of care and clinical governance.
Together, you'll lead your House as a cohesive, person-centred team — aligned in values, shared goals, and a commitment to exceptional resident outcomes.
You'll work collaboratively with other House Managers, support services, and your General Manager, with the autonomy to lead your team and shape the experience of those who live and work in your House.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the day-to-day operations of your House to ensure it feels calm, safe, and welcoming
- Lead, coach, and support a team of care and hospitality staff with a hands-on, visible leadership style
- Build strong relationships with residents and their loved ones, especially during admissions and transitions
- Create and maintain a positive, homelike environment where people feel they belong
- Support individual and small group activities that bring purpose, joy, and connection to residents
- Take responsibility for non-clinical quality indicators and ensure continuous improvement
- Maintain documentation and records that support compliance and accountability
- Uphold St Basil's values of **Courtesy & Kindness**in every interaction

- Proven people leadership skills and experience managing teams
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- A hands-on, team-oriented leadership style
- A deep respect for older people and their right to live with dignity and choice
- Ability to create a calm, consistent environment — even when things get busy
- Willingness to undertake additional training to support professional growth
- Alignment with the mission and values of St Basil's Homes SA
- National Police Clearance
- Aged Care experience is a bonus, but not essential — attitude is everything
