**About Us**

AAA Nursing Agency is based in and servicing NSW. We are currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide support for participants living with a disability in Nowra, Worrigee and Wollongong.

**About the Role**

You will be supporting a variety of participants living with a disability in their homes, community and SIL/SDA. Day to day duties may vary based on participant needs and care plans these may include:

- Personal care: showering, bowel care and dressing and grooming
- Medication management: administering or prompting medication
- Domestic Assistance (light duties)
- Meal preparation and following meal management plan (if required)
- Social/Community support: medical appointments, shopping, social activities
- Qualification in Community/DisabilityIndividual Support, Aged Care or Mental Health with relevant experience
- Experience working with clients/participants with complex and/or challenging behaviours
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support people to achieve their goals and maintain independence
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong belief in the principles of Person-Centred Approaches

**Essential Requirements**:

- NSW Driver's License (or similar) and access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
- COVID Vaccination (with booster) is mandatory.
- NDISWC and WWC
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- First Aid/CPR
- Must have ABN Number

**Salary**: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nowra, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
