Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of pasta dishes and pizzas following authentic Italian recipes.
Execute day-to-day food preparation tasks according to Head chef and restaurant standards.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure consistency.
Maintain a prep list of station duties and ensure the kitchen is well-organized.
Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines, keeping work areas clean and sanitized.
Collaborate with the team to uphold a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Qualifications / Requirements
The Line Cook responsibilities include food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness to ensure meals are prepared according to guidelines and standards.
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist with meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly prepared.
Valid certifications include a Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check, Standard First Aid and CPR Level C, and updated immunization records.
Experience in retail or quick service restaurant environments in a fast-paced setting is an asset.
