**Job Description/Summary**:

- Conducts railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance.
- Performs repairs as necessary while always using current repair procedures.
- Meets the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensures all necessary invoicing, inspection, and work order information is accurate and complete.
- Has the ability to pass any required NDT disciplines and function specific certifications, which may include tank car welding, and demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
- Actively participates in safety assessments and equipment inspections.
- Able to perform confined space monitoring and create hot work permits.
- Follows all safety rules and practices.
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to learn or have basic railcar knowledge and experience through Trinity or another Railcar company.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve for basic mechanical repairs.
- Capable of writing BRC's
- Ability to obtain the following within 12 months (timeline and required test depends on specific location): Welding, Valve and Coil and Bubble Leak Test certifications.
- Basic knowledge of how to read Engineering drawings.
- Ability to pass DOT Requirements is a plus.
- Understand and perform all work outlined without Supervision.
- Any type of welding/Valve/mechanical experience or railcar knowledge is highly preferred.
