Assistant Production Manager

Diplomatik are currently looking for an Assistant Production Manager to join a client based in Olbury, WA.

**Your Duties**

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Conducting daily reviews of all plants to
- Check the health and growth status of the seedlings.
- Ensure the irrigation system is working.
- Determine any required adjustments to ensure the seedlings continue to grow well and stay healthy.
- Determine if the plants as on track or not, for meeting the order dispatch date.
- Notifying the Production Manager immediately of any signs of plant disease.
- Notifying both the customer and the Administration Manager if the order dispatch date needs to be adjusted, based on plant growth rates.
- Conducting as required adjustments to the fertiliser schedules to adjust growth of leaves and roots to meet order dispatch dates.
- Conducting daily adjustments to the irrigation schedules according to the temperature / wind / plant size and demands.

This role would suit an organised, pro-active and detail orientated person who can work autonomously. **Training and support is provided. Free parking available on site.**

Skills, Experience, Licenses and Qualifications:

- Certificate II or III in Nursery Operations would be well regarded but not essential.
- Experience in working in a Nursery.
- A DoH Pest Management licence isn't required must experience spraying is.
- Demonstrated understanding of plants and plant nutrition.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- High level attention to detail
- Excellent client relationship skills and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- National Police Clearance
- Valid Driver's Licence (C- manual)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
