We would love for you to join our friendly and hardworking grounds team here at Firbank Grammar. The Grounds Person plays a highly essential role in ensuring that the grounds are maintained in a healthy way that reflects our ethos and strategic intent of the organisation. We are seeking a hands-on, team player with a can-do attitude who is looking for the next challenge in their career.

As the Grounds Person you will work alongside the Building and Facilities Manager, Grounds Curator and Project manager while also possessing the ability to work autonomously, re-skill and learn independently. Someone who is reliable with a knowledge of horticulture will fit in seamlessly with our highly motivated team.

**Operation and daily tasks may include**:

- Maintaining gardens, lawns, ovals
- Mowing, watering, weeding, fertilising, planting, and pruning
- Maintenance of schools landscape using machinery as directed
- Preparing ovals for sport eg. mark lines
- Ensuring litter has been removed from garden areas
- Attending to maintenance duties as directed
- Maintaining and operating a variety of irrigation systems

**Qualifications/Licenses**:

- Working With Children's Check (or willing to get one)
- Drivers License

This is a **Permanent**, **full-time** role, commencing immediately.

Salary range: $65 - $70k plus superannuation (dependent on skills and experience)
