Are you ready to combine your passion for early childhood education with the lifestyle of the stunning Sunshine Coast?
We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Educator to take charge of our Pre-Kindy Room in a supportive, vibrant centre where children's learning and well-being always come first.
This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with shifts rostered between 6:45am and 5:45pm, giving you the balance of professional growth and personal lifestyle.
Whether it's an early start to enjoy an afternoon by the beach, or a later finish after a morning surf, you'll have the best of both worlds.
About the role as a Lead Educator, you'll be the driving force in creating a warm, inspiring and child-led environment.
About The Role
Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality programs guided by the EYLF, NQF and NQS.
Mentor and inspire your fellow educators to bring out the best in themselves and the children.
Build strong connections with families and the wider community.
Champion innovation with approaches such as the Kathy Walker framework, and embrace outdoor experiences such as Bush or Beach Kindy.
Be a role model who supports every child's learning journey with care, creativity, and professionalism.
About You We're looking for an educator who is not only skilled but genuinely passionate about children's growth and development.
You'll Bring
Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
Blue Card – Paid (or willingness to obtain)
Previous Lead Educator experience in an Early Childhood setting
Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, NQS
A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
Bonus: Experience with Bush or Beach Kindy and/or the Kathy Walker approach
