As a pivotal member of the Finance Business Services leadership team, this role will oversee accounting operations and ensure precise financial information is delivered to key stakeholders.Key focuses of the role:Lead the Finance RTR (Record to Report) team on execution of accounting processes, supporting business planning and decision-makingOversee key accounting processes, month end close and balance sheet reconciliation, to guarantee timely and accurate financial reportingMotivate and guide the team, focusing on development and fostering a high-performance cultureImprove the controls environment and efficiency of accounting procedures, whilst ensuring adherence to accounting policies and standardsContribute to cash flow forecasting accuracy and improvementCollaborate with Finance Business Services leadership team to implement training and development programsAssist with financial reporting, finance master data management, and financial year end external audit processAbout YouIf you thrive in an environment focused on process standardisation, supporting continuous improvement and creating streamlined ways of working, we are looking for individuals who possess the following:Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing Accounting teamsQualification in Finance or Accounting (CA, CPA or equivalent)Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards, including Australian Accounting StandardsExperience in intercompany accounting practices, fixed assets accounting, period-close procedures, and reconciliation processesExperience in managing change, stakeholder engagement, ensuring smooth transitions and maintaining team moraleFamiliarity with ERP systems and financial reporting software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI)Experience in working on ERP implementation and with Shared Services structuresWhy ABN?
