Go back Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation TrustConsultant in General Adult Psychiatry - Tamworth IMHTThe closing date is 31 August 2025We are excited offer an opportunity to join the Tamworth Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT as a Consultant Psychiatrist.The Consultant Psychiatrist will cover the whole IMHT comprising of one Primary Care Network (PCN) based in Tamworth and input into community care and treatment within the pathway, with the facility for rapid assessment of referred patients, flexible review of complex patients and timely discharge in liaison with General Practitioners.

1:23 on call rota for Staffordshire the rota covers both adult and older adult psychiatry on the St Georges site as well as community cover for emergencies across South Staffordshire.
The consultant is usually 3rdon call with support from a 2ndon call SAS Doctor or a higher trainee and a 1ston call Junior Doctor.
Occasionally, the consultant may be 2ndon call if there is a gap on the 2nd on call rota.
