MyState Limited is a Tasmanian-based ASX listed diversified financial services company which operates two subsidiaries; MyState Bank and Tasmanian Perpetual Trustees - each are long established and highly respected brands.

Whilst you won't be doing any coding directly, your strong experience in software development lifecycle will be essential to supporting design of solutions to solve complex technical problems, influencing the delivery from either the internal teams or our solutions partners. Specifically you will have demonstrable:
Strong experience with functional and technical specifications for enterprise systems along with a solid understanding of front-end, back-end and integration technologies.
- Sound knowledge of automation solutions - scripting to automate repetitive tasks, API integration between systems, Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Sound knowledge and DataOps, Data pipelines and real-time streaming methods in mission critical environments.
- Sound knowledge of relational database management systems including complex data analysis, data modelling and data management,
- Capability with a range of technical languages such as shell scripts, HTML,.Net, SQL, XML, JavaScript, Python etc.
- Knowledge and experience of DevOps principles using CI/CD build, test pipelines and familiarity with IaaC ( Infrastructure-as-code) tools.
- Understanding of any iPaaS suite - Azure iPaaS is highly desirable

In addition to your technical skills, your ability to communicate with key stakeholders is paramount. This will include building a strong working relationship with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

This position will also require some involvement with 3rd level support both during and outside of standard business hours as required.

Preferably you will also have experience in a financial services environment.
