**Your new company**

This Government Department is responsible for the management and regulation of health services across the community. Due to recent secondments within the team, a vacancy is available for a Principal Policy Officer to support the progression of important policies relative to reform agendas.

**Your new role**

You will work strategically to lead the development, implementation, planning and delivery of policy initiatives to support older South Australians. You will:

- Conducting research and literature reviews, analysing complex issues and recommending practical solutions
- Providing strategic advice on policies, legislative reform, memorandums of understanding and service level agreements
- Coordinating and conducting data collection and analysis to support planning and performance reporting
- Providing concise, accurate and evidence-informed briefings, Cabinet submissions, presentations and communications
- Liaising and leading stakeholder engagement with key representatives across to develop effective working relationships with stakeholders

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for these roles, you will meet the following criteria:

- Have or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously within a small team, supporting a politically sensitive environment

**What you'll get in return**

In exchange for your commitment, a competitive hourly rate + superannuation will be offered, initially for a period of three months plus a possibility of extension/longer term employment. You will have the support of guidance of a dedicated Recruitment Consultant throughout your assignment. Working on key programs of work, you will effectively work to shape the offerings of this Department to their key stakeholder groups, and work in a supportive and flexible environment.
