Associate - Corporate & Commercial

We are looking for a talented Associate to join our Corporate and Commercial team, specialising in Corporate Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A).
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-calibre transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, alongside respected professionals who are passionate about delivering strategic and commercial outcomes for clients.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post admission experience, working in a corporate advisory position.In this role, you will engage in a variety of projects within the M&A and Corporate Advisory space, providing critical support on transactions and drafting commercial agreements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Acting for buyers and sellers in merger and acquisition transactions, including undertaking due diligence.Advising on general commercial and corporations law matters.Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.Advising on corporate restructuring, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.Acting for clients seeking approval from various regulators, including FIRB, ACCC and ASIC.Contributing to business development and marketing activities, as well as legal precedents.Involvement in the supervision and mentoring of both junior lawyers and law graduates, fostering their professional development and growth within our team.
