Clinical Nurse/Midwife - Patient Flow, Neonatal ServicesJob no: ******Work type: Full timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Nursing/Midwifery Women's and Children's Health Network, Women's and Babies Division, Neonatal Services, Kaurna Land, North Adelaide 5006 Classification - RN/M2C - $87,416.00 to $110,497.00 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Full time - Ongoing Permanent About the Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Neonatal Services team as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife, where you will be responsible for: Deliver proficient, person-centred nursing and/or midwifery care, including case management and care planning.
Provide clinical leadership within the team, supporting the patient journey and enhancing patient flow.
Contribute to education by mentoring students and less experienced staff and fostering a learning culture.
Participate in research, audits and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Support the multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient flow across the Neonatal Service.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.
Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
