**About the Stores Team**:
The QIMRB Stores are a small team within the Properties and Facilities Department. The team provides support to 600 scientists, students, non-research staff & tenants

**Role Purpose / Responsibilities**:
Applications are invited for the position of Stores Officer - Freight & Logistics

To be successful in the position you will have the following skills/experience but not limited to:

- Demonstrate reconciliation and problem-solving skills in relation to receipt of freight deliveries and inventory.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team.
- Experience in providing customer service support and issue inventory stock to our customers.

**About you**:
You will need:

- Minimum of 1 year working experience in a warehousing and freight services role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate tact, discretion and respect
- Demonstrated reconciliation and problem-solving skills involving receipt of freight deliveries and inventory
- Good computer skills and experience using inventory management systems.
- High level of customer service orientated focus
- Good understanding of OH&S issues involved in stores and receiving areas
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team or autonomously

**Remuneration**:Salary range is $65,833 to $70,411 plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full-time, permanent appointment.
