**The Opportunity**:
The Group Manager, Governance, Audit and Assurance is a newly created position which will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Minda has effective policies, practices, processes and frameworks in place to protect and support its people, assets and diverse activities.

Managing a team, the role is responsible for oversight of a wide range of corporate governance frameworks and activities. Success in the role will be achieved through the adoption of a continuous improvement approach to ensure contemporary, effective and efficient governance, audit and assurance activities are embraced and embedded across Minda.

**In this diverse role you will be responsible for**:

- Developing, maintaining and oversight of a number of Group governance frameworks including the Group Policy Framework; Compliance Framework and Delegation Framework
- Leadership and oversight of risk management and insurance activities and administration of the Risk Management Framework
- Management and oversight of the Group Complaint Framework and escalation activities
- Developing and ensuring Minda has an effective internal audit function contributing to the improvement in risk management and internal control activities
- Oversight of licensing and accreditation activities for Minda businesses/operations
- Overseeing the effective delivery of Board and Committee support functions and activities and
- Oversight of appropriate record management and privacy practices.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Minimum 5 years practical experience with governance and assurance duties with a working knowledge of director's responsibilities
- Experience in working in a similar role within a complex entity/group and regulatory environment (ACNC; NDIS preferable)
- Experience in risk management; BCP processes and policy/framework development
- Significant experience with compliance, audit and assurance activities
- Substantial experience in effectively managing and developing key external and internal relationships
- Awareness and understanding of prevention and detection of fraud strategies, initiatives and developments
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Accounting or related field essential
- COVID 19 vaccinations (2 plus booster(s))
- National NDIS Worker Screening (Additional DHS and other screening/clearances may be required to work in specific areas)
