As part of the Freightways Ltd group of companies, Med-X Healthcare Solutions is a rapidly growing company providing complete Clinical Waste, Sharps Disposal and Hygiene & Washroom Solutions.

Based at our Newcastle branch in New South Wales, we are seeking a Casual Production Operator looking to join our branch to assist in the day-to-day operation of the production facility.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Ensure facility is always maintained to a clean standard
- Emptying, transporting, and stacking of pallets and container bins
- Ensure all stock is returned to the correct place
- Check loads are secure
- Assist in the unloading and reloading of trucks and containers
- Operation of shredding and bailing equipment in accordance with standards
- Quality Checks

**Key Requirements**:

- A valid Forklift license would be helpful
- Physically fit
- Ability to work independently and also within a close-knit team environment
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills
- Willing start at varied and sometimes early times
- Be aligned with our Values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable and Service

**Successful applicants will be required to**:

- Undergo a Federal Police clearance check
- Obtain a Working with Children Certificate
- Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia
- Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position
- Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations.
