**About the role**:
The purpose of this position is to oversee project and engineering activities for SIB & BF projects within the Asset Services, Projects, and Engineering Services (PES) Team. This includes managing and coordinating all project engineers and project managers, ensuring appropriate discipline, contracts, package management, and other necessary support for effective delivery. Additionally, this role includes performing Project Manager duties for projects within the SIB & BF portfolio.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work with idea/initiative owners within the IG teams to complete a thorough handover and set realistic budgets and schedules to deliver against.
- Coordinate with the Project and Engineering Services Manager and other Project Leads to ensure the prioritization of projects across PES is aligned to IG objectives.
- Engage with stakeholders andpartners to determine the justification, definition and execution methodology for each scope
- Manage and take ownership of all SIB & BF projects with theaim of realising thebenefits expected fromeach of these by delivering against schedule and budget
- Undertake thedevelopment of business cases, analysis ofbusiness requirements andassociated deliverables associated with gaining funding approval
- Confirm and manage project scope and adhere to Origin processes - deliver projects, manage access, management of change, andallocate funding.
- Managing project resource requirements tomeet agreed project deliver targets
- Manage QA/QC, budget targets and project delivery timeframes.
- Manage HSE for all project activities.
- Manage risks associated with project execution to ensure certainty in project outcomes.
- Communicate andreport key project KPIs to stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional people management to the project managers and engineers in SIB & BF, including 1:1s, performance management and development planning.
- Be an effective member of the PES leadership team and role model Origin's leadership habits within the PES and SIB & BF teams.
- Work with the Project and Engineering Services Manager to develop and deliver continual improvement for the PES team including but not limited to systems and processes, delivery strategies and team culture /structure.

**What will you bring?**

You will have a high level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface, interact and build effective working relationships with a broad spectrum of internal stakeholders.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in Project Management
- Extensive experience in Engineering Management
- Experienced in contract management and strategy
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Negotiating and managing competing senior stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation;
- Project planning, monitoring and evaluation to drive continuous improvements and ensure successful delivery;
