The role involves effectively working with other cross-functional teams within the organization to meet business objectives.What you'll do:Design, deploy and manage Windows systems infrastructure and associated services i.e Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS services etc.Develop and automate system processes to reduce manual intervention and minimize operational overhead.
Utilize scripting and programming languages to automate tasksImplement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or similar technologiesActively participate in incident management processes, quickly identifying and resolving issues.
Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future incidentsAnalyze and optimize system performance using monitoring and logging tools.
Work to improve response times and decrease downtime.Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to enhance security, reliability and scalabilityMonitor infrastructure and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing across teamsStay updated on industry trends and emerging technologiesWhat you'll bring:10+ years of experience leveraging automation to manage Windows systems and infrastructureIn-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and AzureExperience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormationStrong technical experience implementing, managing and supporting windows systems infrastructureProficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Powershell)Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities; Available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events.Stay up to date on everything Blackbaud, follow us on Linkedin , X , Instagram , Facebook and YouTubeBlackbaud is a digital-first company which embraces a flexible remote or hybrid work culture.
