Day to day you will:Record high-quality sound on diverse shoots using boom and lapel mics, adapting to varying environments and background noise.Monitor and record audio across multiple channels during outside broadcasts in potentially challenging conditions.Capture clear audio in both controlled interview settings and spontaneous public interactions.Collaborate closely with camera operators and reporters on location.Maintain and troubleshoot audio recording equipment to ensure optimal performance.QualificationsWhat you'll bring: Proven on-the-job experience in longer-form story production preferred.Ability to capture high-quality audio in varied and dynamic environments.Expertise in using boom and lapel microphones effectively.Capability to monitor and record multi-channel audio in outside broadcasts.Strong collaborative skills to support camera operators and reporters.Additional InformationHow we workAt Nine, our flexible work options vary by role and team.
