Young Engineers offers unique STEM programs to primary schools and education partners in the region. We have robotics, engineering and electronics programs for children from Prep to Year 9. Our programs teach basic to advanced practical engineering concepts of STEM using LEGO, motorised models in combination with technology tools.
Young Engineers program is globally recognised over 45 countries. In Australia, we are actively engaged across over 400 schools.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with science/engineering/ education disciplines. This role requires a confident public speaker with enthusiasm to be around children. This is a high impact and purposeful role. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about inspiring the future generation of solution architects.
The successful applicants will enjoy teaching students about various aspects of Engineering & Robotics.
About the Lessons:
- After-School Classes - run throughout the school term on a weekly basis from 3pm to 5pm
- Incursion Classes - run during school hours
- School holiday camps and Outside Hours Care incursions - run during school holiday
- All training, lesson plans and specially designed training kits will be provided
**Requirements**:
- Must love working with children and have a passion for guidance
- Experience in teaching/ guiding/ tutoring especially with children is an advantage
- Must have a drivers license and access to own transport
- QLD Blue Card is essential
We'll provide:
- Ongoing on-the-job training & equipment
- Minimum 2 hours per shift pay
- Superannuation
- Weekly shift ranges between 2-12 hours depending on individual availability
- Ongoing casual shifts available
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
