The Opportunity
Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at St Michael's College in Beverley to play, teach, and care for children in a safe learning environment in Outside School Hours Care.
The Role
Provide after school care from 3:05 PM to 6:00 PM.
Assist in delivering daily quality activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational.
Supervise and support children.
Prepare and serve healthy food options.
Create an engaging and happy environment for children.
Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the community.
About You
Engaging and warm personality.
Strong focus on child safety and understanding of mandatory reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Hold a Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or be studying towards it, or equivalent.
Willing to obtain a Working with Children Check.
Willing to obtain HLTAID012 First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training.
Child Protection Certificate.
Availability to work Monday to Friday (mandatory).
