**Our Opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team, bringing a goal-oriented mindset to ensure mínimal disruption to the organisation's assets and projects. This role aims to achieve planned time, cost, and quality metrics for projects, aligning with NEPEAN Conveyor's policies and procedures. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for strategising, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the maintenance of all plant equipment, infrastructure, and machinery - minimizing downtime, reducing costs, and improving overall operational efficiency
Core responsibilities include however are not limited to:
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders to ensure timely and cost-efficient maintenance of the organisation's activities and goals.
- Coordination: Work closely with maintenance personnel, engineering teams, and operations to schedule regular preventive maintenance, handle emergencies, and conduct inspections. Ensuring mínimal disruption to production or services.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, equipment condition, and maintenance costs.
- Equipment Modifications: Plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades in collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
- Inventory Management: Track the inventory of spare parts and ensure their availability for routine and emergency maintenance.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential issues before they become costly problems, and adjust schedules to account for unexpected emergency work.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities and their effectiveness.
**The Right Person**
We are interested in hearing from you if you have:
- A degree or certificate in a related field such as engineering, industrial maintenance, or facilities management.
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures, best practices, and equipment.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to manage schedules and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with maintenance personnel, and engineering teams.
- Ability to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols to ensure compliance during maintenance activities.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
