About the Team:

The Canva AI group is responsible for creating end-to-end core product experiences and powering the conductor platform. Our mission has a significant impact on Canva's overarching success, aligning directly with Canva's strategic objective to be the world's leading visual communication platform.

Role Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will lead the evolution of Canva AI's frontend architecture, ensuring seamless scalability for feature integration across Canva. You will introduce Canva AI to critical surfaces, such as bringing it to the editor for the first time. You will provide strong technical leadership, shaping best practices and frameworks for efficient front-end capabilities integration. Your role involves hands-on implementation of critical features and fostering collaboration across Canva, positioning Canva AI as a central hub for innovative user experiences.

Establish yourself as a trusted technical leader by resolving technical debt and earning credibility through impact.

Re-architect Canva AI's frontend foundation to enable seamless integration of new capabilities like "Ask Canva"

Design and implement scalable, robust frameworks empowering teams to build into Canva AI independently.
">
Drive critical integration projects from idea to production, introducing Canva AI to new product surfaces including the editor.
">
Collaborate cross-functionally to evolve Canva AI into a unified, accessible platform meeting real user needs.
">
Mentor engineers and champion best practices to elevate frontend engineering standards.
">
Expand your skill set by contributing to backend and machine learning integration as needed.

Requirements:
