Our aim is to improve relationships and reduce stressors for inmates/transferees, so they feel cared for.

We are seeking an ICT Coordinator to join our team at the Nauru Regional Processing Centre on a 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off roster.

**About the Role**

In your role as ICT Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring technology enables and enhances the Nauru Regional Processing Centre objectives and allows facility staff to achieve their operational priorities. You will also be responsible for developing, maintaining, and training on ICT policy, procedures, reference guides, and materials.

**General Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Build & maintain a productive working relationship with team members and stakeholders
- Ensure ICT systems are maintained according to applicable schedules
- Support the team to problem solve ICT issues
- Provide ICT trouble shooting solutions
- Maintain ICT asset registers
- Provide reports and updates to line manager
- Report maintenance issues in a timely manner to ensure the efficient and safe running of the facility
- Attend regular training and refresher sessions to maintain skills and qualifications including but not limited to cultural awareness, mental health, CPR and first aid.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Advanced degree in information systems, computer science, or related field strongly preferred or at least five (5) years of significant relevant experience in ICT coordination or similar role
- Experience with cabling, network and fiber installation / ACMA licensed
- Knowledgeable in software, hardware and networks
- Willingness and ability to undertake induction training, working and living in a hot tropical environment on Nauru
- Social responsibility with the highest standards of personal honesty and integrity
- Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to varied working situations
- The ability to work successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Proven right to work in Australia
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check
- Current Working with Children Card
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Evidence that you are vaccinated against COVID-19 (double vaccinated) plus one booster with a vaccine recognised in Australia
