**Position Purpose**

Sophia Mundi Steiner School is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher to deliver engaging, rigorous and imaginative Mathematics and Science education aligned with both the Australian Steiner Curriculum and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Years 11-12).

This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant learning community committed to excellence in both Steiner and IB education. We are looking for a skilled educator who can foster a dynamic, inclusive and supportive learning environment, inspiring students to think critically and creatively.

You will be a committed, resourceful and enthusiastic teacher with a genuine love for working with young people. You will bring an interest in Steiner education and the capacity to deliver a curriculum that integrates Steiner principles with the academic rigour of the IB.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons for Years 7 to 12, aligned with Steiner pedagogical principles and the School's curriculum frameworks, including the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) for Years 11 and 12.
- Develop and implement differentiated learning experiences that meet the academic and developmental needs of all students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to semester and IB reporting processes.
- Actively participate in the co-curricular life of the School, including camps, excursions, festivals, and other community events.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, including faculty meetings, collaborative planning, and school-wide initiatives, with a commitment to both Steiner and IB educational philosophies.
