Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining a hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff by upholding high cleaning standards and helping reduce the spread of illness.
Successful applicants will work as part of a team and may be required to undertake duties alongside existing cleaning staff, depending on operational needs.
Cleaning shifts will be negotiated, with split shifts being common across sites.Applicants will be contacted directly by schools as vacancies arise.About The RoleAs the Cleaner, you will :Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.Your ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors and cupboards.Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.Cleaning and maintaining equipment.Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary.Please refer to the attached role description for the full list of responsibilities and mandatory requirements for this position.Interested?
