THE ROLE
As part of the Community Partnerships, Central Highlands Area, West Division this position contributes to the DFFH strategic aspiration that all Victorians are safe, healthy and able to lead a life they value.
The role is involved in a range of key projects and initiatives that require community, inter-sectoral and whole-of-government engagement, collaboration and action to address the broad range of determinants that shape health and wellbeing. This includes enacting place-based approaches which consider the unique characteristics and interactions of people and place when designing and implementing interventions and or investment in a given location or community.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

- Support the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of key strategic responses to the health and community wellbeing needs of the Central Highlands Area.
- Assist in the translation of research/data/evidence to gain clearer insights into the health, social, cultural, and environmental priorities for the Area.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the delivery of community development programs and evidence-based interventions that aim to improve overall health outcomes.
