The successful applicant will have the ability to provide both level 1 and 2 technical supports to our entire user base, by troubleshooting through system and network problems to find solutions promptly and professionally.
This role will be required you to support an after-hours roster.You will ensure established policies and procedures are being followed and continue to support the business delivery of projects on time and within budget requirements where appropriate.Key Responsibilities:Providing level 1 and 2 technical supports to internal and external customers via various means of communicationLogging and maintaining incidents and service requests within the Service Desk softwareEscalating service desk incidents and requests to the appropriate groups within the IT Team and suppliersTaking ownership of incidents and requests to an end resolution and ensure users are kept up to date on their status throughout the processOrdering and procurement of IT equipment and services as well as maintaining asset registersManaging the preparation of user hardware and associated peripherals for deploymentFlexibility to participate in after hours on call support rosterSuccess Profile:Relevant tertiary or IT industry qualificationsProven experience working in a fast-paced Service Desk (Help Desk) role or similarKnowledge and experience using Windows desktop operating systems including Windows 10Experience in managing and supporting Active Directory users and Exchange / Office 365 MailboxesExperience providing end user support within a thin client environment including Microsoft RDSBasic understanding of network connectivity and troubleshootingStrong analytical, diagnostic and problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to different environmentsBasic understanding of ITILStrong written, communication, and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem solving and time management skillsIf you're a collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a passion for seizing every opportunity to make an impact we want to hear from you.
