**WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR**

A full time outreach worker who loves to provide assertive outreach and stakeholder collaboration to asylum seekers with tenancy sustainment support across Brisbane.

**POSITION OBJECTIVE**
**ASRA Outreach Hub model: The ASRA Program of support is based on services delivered via outreach hubs in various locations. These services include; incidental support and linking to relevant services, legal, housing, health, mental health and employment support. The ASRA workers delivering these specialised supports will attend the outreach hubs on a weekly basis. Specialist services not included in the ASRA Consortia will be invited to attend hubs on a needs basis. The position also requires outreach to various properties across Brisbane where people seeking asylum are housed in temporary accommodation. The purpose of ASRA Housing is to attempt to secure properties for people, advocate and sustain tenancies while working across the ASRA consortium.
***WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**

Working collaboratively within the ASRA consortia and with other housing services to provide tenancy support for clients.
Engaging with tenants and other stakeholders with the aim of sustaining tenancies thus avoiding eviction.
Engaging with other supports for tenants such as employment and mental health that will assist to maintain tenancies.

**WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH**

Reporting into the ASRA Housing Coordinator, you will work alongside and in collaboration with our dynamic Housing and Homeless Services in collaboration with the ASRA consortia.
