Ventia, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are currently seeking a Storeperson to join the team at Singleton NSW. The successful applicant will work 3 Days a week. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday But days may change depending on workload.
Assignment Length: 3 Months with potential opportunity to extent.
What you will be doing:
.* Manage and process all stock movements from receipting through to despatch and ensure the accuracy of the processing of paperwork
- Receipting inbound goods, unloading trucks & containers, checking goods & stock allocation
- Comply with and maintain industry best practice housekeeping and stock security standards, including ensuring the storage and distribution site is secured daily
- Maintain all equipment for normal operation
- Managing incoming/outgoing calls & communication with customers & stakeholders
- Adhering to, and meeting strict safety standards and quality control as per Occupational Health & Safety guidelines, including the storage of hazardous chemicals
- Advise supervisor on accurate stock and re-ordering levels

What is required:

- Experience working within warehouse or have worked in a similar role
- Forklift licence
- Possess a current Australian State or territory class C Driver's License

Desirable but not necessary:

- Certificate or near completion of certificate III in transport and distribution (Desirable but not necessary)
