In this role, you will oversee and participate in the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

We can promise you rewarding work which makes a real impact, the chance to learn from inspiring colleagues from across a growing, global network and opportunities to grow personally and professionally.Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:Perform routine and advanced maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently, and repair or replace faulty components to ensure system reliability.Develop and implement standard operating procedures for maintenance and training, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment.Provide leadership, technical support, and mentorship to junior technicians, and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure timely resolutions.Skills & Experience:Extensive experience in electrical maintenance, repair, and installation.Knowledge of HV/LV systems and communication networks is desirable.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer skills.Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.Experience in the renewable energy sector is a plus.QualificationsVIC Electrical Supervisor's or Contractor's LicenseValid Driver's License LVR/CPR current certificateFirst Aid current certificateWorking at Heights desirableHV electrical qualification desirable.High Risk Work Licenses (boom lift, forklift, dogging, rigging, telehandler etc.)Valid Working Rights (no sponsorship option)Safety Obligationstake reasonable care for your own health and safetytake reasonable care for thehealth and safetyof otherscomply with any reasonable instructions, policies and procedure given by the companyAt RES, we celebrate differences as we know it makes our company a great place to work.
