Opening for a senior media & entertainment disputes lawyer to join a top Australian firm Commercial Litigation, with a Media & IP focusStrong mentorship and career progression opportunitiesWorking as 2iC to a leading partner in the media litigation spaceOur client is one of Australia's biggest national firms hiring a Senior Associate into their Disputes & Investigations team in Sydney, to work with a leading partner in the media, IP & defamation space.
The role:You will be responsible for running disputes and litigation in the areas of defamation, privacy and IP (including trade marks, copyright and designs)You will display a strong drive for business development, client relationship management and other commercial activities.You will have a strong commitment to continuing your own professional development and be passionate about coaching and mentoring more junior members of the teamYou will have strong presentation skills for dealing with media and IP clientsYou will possess:A minimum of 5 years PAE from a well-regarded commercial litigation practice, ideally with experience in media/IP or media-adjacent sectors.
Experience from other sectors combined with a demonstrable desire to work in this field will be considered.
